Moody’s upgrades its Outlook on Mediobanca from Negative to Stable, rating unchanged at “Baa1”
Mediobanca hereby gives notice that Moody’s has upgraded the Outlook assigned to Mediobanca from Negative to Stable. The “Baa1” long-term rating remains unchanged. The action follows the similar move taken on sovereign rating on 17 November and reflects Mediobanca’s good capitalization and sound and diversified profitability.
The main ratings assigned by Moody’s are as follows:
- Outlook: Stable (from Negative)
- Issuer rating: “Baa1”
- Senior unsecured: “Baa1”
- Bank deposits: “Baa1/P-2”
- Baseline credit assessment: baa3
