Mediobanca Asset Management brings together the Group’s product factories:

• Mediobanca SGR in Italy
• Polus Capital for illiquid credit
• RAM AI for systematic equity funds.

Our aim is to gradually increase the penetration rate of our own products in our Premier and Private Banking clients’ portfolios, with a view to providing very specific and high-quality products which will increase the distinctiveness of our offering.

Set up in 2017 following the merger of Banca Esperia into Mediobanca S.p.A., Mediobanca SGR now plays a key role in defining investment strategies and developing innovative products to be marketed by the Group’s networks.

Polus Capital, headquartered in London, was set up following the merger of Cairn Capital, an asset management specializing in illiquid credit acquired in 2015, and Bybrook, a specialist distressed credit manager acquired in 2021.

The combination of the two companies to form Polus Capital serves the ambition to create a leading player in alternative credit management through public and private investment opportunities, in impaired and performing assets, pooling a franchise of extremely high level leveraged credit and alternative credit assets in the management of NPLs and special situations.

RAM AI, with headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland), acquired in 2018, is one of the leading European systematic asset managers, offering a wide range of alternative funds with systematic fundamental equity management and discretionary fixed-income management, serving a wide range of institutional and professional investors.
